So, I’ve been using this site as more of a professional webpage for the last year or so but I’m converting it back to what it really should be: a blog. I don’t imagine anyone is going to be reading much of it either way, but I like the blog tone – informal, digressive, and open.  I’m in the last 5 months of my sabbatical and I’ve got a lot of research that’s finally out the door (some interesting things, some old collaborations, some student projects) and now I’ve got to make the most of the remaining 4 months. So, I’m going to use this as an opportunity to chat about my daily travails, struggles with code, and (my favorite) dealing with reviewers.
